ADJUSTING LCD CONTRAST

You can adjust your Brother machine's LCD contrast for a sharper, more vivid display. If you are having difficulty reading your Brother machine's LCD try changing its contrast setting for improved visibility:

1. Press the MENU key.
   
   
2. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose General Setup.
   
   
3. Press the OK key.
   
   
4. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose LCD Settings.
   
   
5. Press the OK key.
   
   
6. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose LCD Contrast.
   
   
7. Press the OK key.
   
   
8. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose a contrast setting.
   
   - You can choose Light, Med., or Dark.
   
   
9. Press the OK key.
   
   
10. Press the STOP/EXIT key.

ADJUSTING LCD BACKLIGHT BRIGHTNESS

You can adjust the backlight brightness of your Brother machine's LCD. If you are having difficulty reading your Brother machine's LCD after adjusting its contrast setting, try changing the back light brightness:
