Installing DesignNCut Manager on your computer

1.  Logon to your computer as an administrator.
   
   
    
2. Install DesignNCut Manager on the computer.
   - If you have already installed, open the DesignNCut Manager and go to Connecting the machine and computer with a USB cable.
   - If not, go to step 3.
   
   
    
3. Click here to download the DesignNCut Manager.
   
   
    
4. Select your Operating System and version, and then click [Search] .
   
   
   
   
    
5. Select DesignNCut Manager.
   
   
   
   
    
6. Read the License Agreement, and then click Agree to the EULA and Download.
   
   
    
7. Download the software to the local folder on your computer and install.
   
   
    
8. When the following screen appears, select language and click [OK] .
   
   
   
   
   
    
9. When the following screen appears, click [Next] to continue.
    

   
   
    
    

10. When the following screen appears, click [Install] to continue.
    
    
    
    
    
     

11. When the following screen appears, the DesignNCut Manager has been installed on your computer.
    Click [Finish] .
    
    
    
    
    
     

12. When the Welcome to DesignNCut Manager appears on your screen follow the on-screen instructions.

Connecting the machine and computer with a USB cable

1. Click [Start Setup] on the guidance screen.
   
   
    
    
2. Click Connect.
   
   
   
   
    
3. Select USB Cable, and then click [Next] .
   
   
   
   
    
4. Plug the USB cable connectors into the corresponding USB ports on the computer and on the machine.

5. Turn off the machine.
   
    
6. Press   and the   on the operation panel at the same time, once the power comes on release while still pressing down.
   
   
   
    
    
7. When the message Machine mode? appears on the machine’s LCD, press to select USB.
   
   
    
8. When the message Turn the machine off, then on again. appears, turn the machine off, then on again.
   When the setting is changed, the message Standby (USB) appears.
   
    
    
9. Go back to DesignNCut Manager and click [Connect] .
   
   
   
    
    
10. When DesignNCut Connection is successful. appears in the dialog box, click [OK] .
     

    
    
     

11. Create a CanvasWorkspace for Web account.
    - If you created an account, click [Next] .
    - If no, click CanvasWorkspace (Web) on the following screen to access to < https://canvasworkspace.brother.com >to register a new account.
      After registering, click [Next] .
    
    
     
     

    All settings have been completed.
    
     

    You can create a pattern on CanvasWorkspace (Web) < https://canvasworkspace.brother.com > on the computer, and cut the data with DesignNCut by operating DesignNCut Manger.
