Program my Brother machine to call my pager when I receive a fax.

You can program your Brother machine to page you when it receives a fax into its memory.

To program your pager number into the machine, follow these steps:

Press Menu/Set, 8 (Remote Fax Opt), 1 (Fwd/Page/Store).
Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Paging.
Use the dial pad to enter your pager number followed by ##.
- For example, enter 1, 8, 0, 0, 5, 5, 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, #, #.
- The number can be up to 20 digits long.
- Do not include the pager's area code if it is the same as the Brother machine's.
Press the Menu/Set key.
Do one of the following:
- If your pager requires a PIN, follow these steps:
  1. Use the dial pad to enter the PIN.
  2. Press #.
  3. Press the Redial/Pause key.
  4. Use the dial pad to enter your fax number followed by ##.
    
    For example, enter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, #, Redial/Pause, 1, 8, 0, 0, 5, 5, 5, 1, 2, 1, 2, #, #.
  5. Press the Menu/Set key.
  6. Go to STEP6.
- If your pager does not require a PIN, follow these steps:
  1. Use the dial pad to enter your fax number followed by ##.
    
    For example, enter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, #, Redial/Pause, 1, 8, 0, 0, 5, 5, 5, 1, 2, 1, 2, #, #.
  2. Press the Menu/Set key.
  3. Go to STEP6.
Press the Stop/Exit key.

You cannot remotely change a pager number or PIN. You must change them at the Brother machine.
Your machine will automatically print a backup copy of your received faxes.
