How does a restricted user log on the Brother machine when Secure Function Lock is turned on?
Follow the steps listed below to log on as a restricted user when Secure Function Lock is turned on:
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps of "For Touchscreen models" below.- Hold down the Shift key as you press *
OR
Press Menu. Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Change User and then press OK. - Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose your user name.
- Press OK.
- Enter your four-digit password.
- Press OK.
- Hold down Shift key as you press *.
OR
Press
or 
(where xxxxx is the user's name). Then press Change User.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to display your user name.
- Press your user name.
- Enter your four-digit user password by pressing the buttons on the Touchscreen.
- Press OK.
