使用BRAdmin Light实用程序配置网络打印机

BRAdmin Light

BRAdmin Light实用程序专为Brother 网络连接设备进行初始设置而设计。它也可以在TCP/IP环境下搜索Brother产品，浏览状态并配置如IP地址等的基本网络设置。可以在Windows^® 2000/XP, Windows Vista™, Windows Server^® 2003 and Mac OS^® X 10.2.4 或更高版本的操作系统下使用BRAdmin Light实用程序。

•	如果使用个人防火墙软件(例如：Windows防火墙)，请禁用该软件。一旦您确认可以进行打印，请重新启动个人防火墙软件。
•	节点名称：网络中 Brother 设备的节点名称显示于BRAdmin Light中。打印机中网卡的默认节点名称为“BRNxxxxxxxxxxxx”(有线网络)或“BRWxxxxxxxxxxxx”(无线网络)。
•	Brother 打印服务器的默认密码为 “access”。

启动BRAdmin Light实用程序。

点击 “开始”/ “所有程序”¹ / “Brother” / “BRAdmin Light” / “BRAdmin Light”。

双击 “Macintosh HD”(硬盘) / “Library”(资源库)/ “Printers”(打印机) / “Brother” / “Utilities”(实用程序)/ “BRAdmin Light.jar”文件。

BRAdmin Light将自动搜索新设备。

双击未配置设备。

注释

•	如果未使用DHCP/BOOTP/RARP 服务器将打印服务器设置为出厂默认设置，在BRAdmin Light实用程序屏幕上设备将显示为“Unconfigured” (未配置)。
•	通过打印打印机设置页可以查找到节点名称和以太网地址。请参阅打印打印机设置页。

从 “Boot Method”(引导方式)中选择 “STATIC”。输入打印机的“IP Address” (IP地址)，“Subnet Mask”(子网掩码)和“Gateway” (网关)(如有所需)。

单击“OK” (确定)。

输入正确编辑的IP地址，您将在设备列表中找到Brother打印服务器。
