Ring delay

The ring delay sets the number of times the machine rings before it answers in Fax Only and Fax/Tel modes.

If you have extension telephones on the same line as the machine or subscribe to the telephone company’s Distinctive Ring service, keep the Ring Delay setting of 4. (See Operation from extension telephones and Easy receive.)

Make sure you are in Fax mode

Press Menu, 2, 1, 1.

Press

to choose 00, 01, 02, 03 or 04 for how many times the line rings before the machine answers.

Press OK.

Press Stop/Exit.

Note

Choose 00 in 3 to have the machine answer immediately.
