Configuration with an access point that supports SecureEasySetup™

For Mac OS®X 10.2.4 or greater

If you have previously configured the wireless settings of the machine, you must reset the network LAN settings before you can configure the wireless settings again. Press Menu, 7, 0 for Factory Reset, Reset and choose Yes to accept the change. The machine will restart automatically.

Turn on the machine by plugging in the power cord.

Press Menu, 7, 2, 6. Using Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri, choose On and press OK.

Turn on your Macintosh®.

Put the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

Double-click the Utilities icon and then Wireless Device Setup Wizard.

Read the Important Notice and click Next.

Make the following selection and click Next.

Confirm the on-screen message and click Next.

Refer to the instruction manual that came with your access point to set the SecureEasySetup™ mode of your access point.

Put the machine in SecureEasySetup™ mode.
Press Menu, 7, 2, 3 for SecurEasySetup.

If the LCD shows Connection NG for USA or Connection error for UK, please try again.

Click Finish.

The configuration is finished. Relocate the machine to a location that is within range of your access point.

You have completed the wireless setup. If you would like to continue installing drivers and software necessary for operating your device, please choose Start Here OSX from CD-ROM menu.
