| 1 | Make sure you are in Fax mode  . |
| 2 | Load your document. |
| 3 | Pick up the handset of the external telephone or press Hook and listen for a dial tone. |
| 4 | Dial the fax number you want to call. |
| 5 | When you hear the fax tone, press Mono Start or Color Start. or Press 1 when you select the Fax mode to Advanced mode and send the faxes from the scanner glass. (See Setting the fax logic.) |
| 6 | If you picked up the hand set of an external phone, replace it. |
