Manual mode turns off all automatic answering functions.

To receive a fax in Manual mode press Mono Start or Color Start when you hear fax tones (short repeating beeps). You can also use the Fax Detect feature to receive faxes by lifting a handset on the same line as the machine.

If you use a computer modem on the same line, Faxing will not operate correctly.
