Uninstalling and installing the handset and handset cradle
If you do not use the handset you can remove the handset and handset cradle.

Unplug the curled handset cord from the machine.

Pull the tab

back and hold it in position as you push the cradle

to the back of the machine.

Attach the side cover.

Installing the handset and handset cradle

Remove the side cover.
Note
If you cannot open the cover with your hand, use a coin to open it.

Align the recessed arrows on the cradle with those on the machine, and then slide the cradle toward the front of the machine until it clicks into place.

Connect the curled handset cord to the machine.
