The Ring Delay sets the number of times the machine rings before it answers in Fax Only, Fax/Tel or MC:Msg Ctr (FAX-1960C only) mode. If you have external or extension phones on the same line as the machine or subscribe to the telephone company’s Distinctive Ring service, choose the maximum number of rings. If toll saver is on, then the ring delay setting has no effect. (See Setting toll saver.)
