Adjusting Brightness, Contrast and Colour

To temporarily change the brightness setting, follow the instructions below:

Make sure you are in Copy mode

Load your document.

Use the dial pad to enter the number of copies (up to 99).

Press Copy Options and

to select Brightness.

Press OK.

Press

to make the copy lighter or darker.
Press OK.

Press Mono Start or Colour Start.

To change the default setting follow the instructions below:

1	Press Menu, 3, 2.
2	Press or to make the copy lighter or darker. Press OK.
3	Press Stop/Exit.

Adjust the contrast to help an image look sharper and more vivid.

To change the default setting follow the instructions below:

Press Menu, 3, 3.

Contrast

Press

to change the contrast.
Press OK.

Press Stop/Exit.

The colour saturation can only be changed through the default setting.

Press Menu, 3, 4.

Color Adjust

Press

to select 1.Red, 2.Green or 3.Blue.
Press OK.

Press

to change the colour saturation.
Press OK.

Do one of the following:

•	Return to 2 to select the next colour.
•	Press Stop/Exit.
