You can reduce the number of pages for copies by using the N in 1 copy feature. This allows you to copy two or four pages onto one page, which allows you to save paper.
You can also produce a poster. When you use the poster feature your machine divides your document into sections, then enlarges the sections so you can assemble them into a poster. If you want to print a poster, use the scanner glass.

• | Please make sure paper size is set to Letter or A4. |
• | You can not use the Enlarge/Reduce setting with the N in 1 and Poster features. |
• | N in 1 color copies are not available. |
• | (P) means Portrait and (L) means Landscape. |
• | You can only make one poster copy at a time. |
1 | Make sure you are in Copy mode ![Graphic](images/p_m240_u_copy.gif) . |
2 | Load your document. |
3 | Use the dial pad to enter the number of copies (up to 99). |
4 | Press Copy Options and ![Bsymbol.utri](../img/bsymbol_utri.gif) or ![Bsymbol.dtri](../img/bsymbol_dtri.gif) to choose Page Layout. Press OK. |
5 | Press ![Bsymbol.utri](../img/bsymbol_utri.gif) or ![Bsymbol.dtri](../img/bsymbol_dtri.gif) to choose Off(1 in 1), 2 in 1 (P), 2 in 1 (L), 4 in 1 (P), 4 in 1 (L) or Poster(3 × 3). Press OK. |
6 | Press Black Start to scan the document. You can also press or Color Start if you are using Poster layout. If you are making a poster or placed the document in the ADF, the machine scans the pages and starts printing. If you are using the scanner glass, go to 7. |
7 | After the machine scans the page, press 1 to scan the next page. Next Page? ![](../img/spacer.gif) |
