Warning LED indications

The Warning LED (Light Emitting Diode) lights when there is a problem with your machine. You should check the LCD display for more details about the problem.

LED	DCP status	Description
Off	Ready	The DCP is ready for use.
Red	Cover open	The cover is open. Close the cover. (See Error messages.)
	Ink empty	Replace the Ink cartridge with a new one. (See Replacing the ink cartridges.)
	Paper error	Put paper in the tray or clear the paper jam. Check the LCD message. (See Error messages.)
	Other messages	Check the LCD message. (See Error messages.)
