Accessing the scanner

Open your software application to scan the document.

Note

The instructions for scanning in this Guide are based on ScanSoft^® PaperPort^® SE. The process will vary when scanning from other applications.

Click File, then Scan. Or click the Scan button.

The Scan panel appears on the left side of the screen.

Choose the scanner you are using from the Scanner drop-down list.

Note

•	Choose WIA-Brother MFC-XXXX USB or WIA-Brother MFC-XXXX LAN (Where XXXX is your model name).
•	If you choose TW-Brother MFC-XXXX, the TWAIN driver will start.

Click Scan.

The Scan dialog box appears:
