Send a Fax Manually
Manual fax transmission lets you hear the dialling, ringing and fax-receiving tones while sending a fax.
- Load your document.
- To listen for a dial tone, pick up the handset of the external telephone.
- Dial the fax number using the external telephone.
- When you hear fax tones, press
and then press [Fax Start]. - If using the scanner glass, press [Send].
- Replace the handset of the external phone.
