Configure Your Wi-Fi Direct Network Manually

Depending on the device, if you connect to the Wi-Fi Direct network manually, your mobile device may disconnect from the connected wireless network and automatically switch to mobile data communication. If necessary, reconnect to the original wireless network after use. If your device continues to automatically switch to the Wi-Fi Direct network, turn off the automatic connection setting on your mobile device.

Configure the Wi-Fi Direct settings from the machine's control panel:

When the machine receives a Wi-Fi Direct request from your mobile device, the message [Connect?] appears on the LCD. Select OK to connect.
  1. Press 设置.
  2. Press image or image to select the [Network] option, and then press OK.
  3. Press image or image to select the [Wi-Fi Direct] option, and then press OK.
  4. Press image or image to select the [Manual] option, and then press OK.
  5. When [Wi-Fi Direct On?] appears, select On.
  6. The machine will display the SSID (Network Name) and Password (Network Key). Go to your mobile device's wireless network settings screen, select the SSID, and then enter the password.
  7. When your mobile device connects successfully, the machine's LCD displays [Connected].
