Important Notes

  • Only Brother genuine Artspira threads with the Barcode on the label can be scanned with this feature.
  • Depending on your mobile device setting, the Artspira thread scan feature may not be available.
    • This feature requires a device with autofocus.
  • Adequate lighting is required for the camera to scan the barcode on the thread properly.
    • Please position the Barcode front and center when capturing the image.
    • Move your device within  1 inch (25mm) of the Barcode on the thread and ensure the entire code is visible in the scanning area.
  • If the barcode on the label is damaged, your camera may not be able to read it.
    If you are unable to scan the barcode successfully, please contact us.
