Attaching the Embroidery Frame

CAUTION

Do not hit the needle or presser foot with your finger or the embroidery frame. It may cause injury or needle breakage.

1. Hold down (Accept button).

   • The machine enters Needle/thread exchange mode. (Needle/thread exchange mode)

2. Pass the embroidery frame under the presser foot, and then firmly insert the embroidery frame guide into the embroidery carriage frame holder.

   Line up the embroidery frame guide tabs and the embroidery carriage frame holder slots and push in until you hear a click and cannot push the frame any further.

3. Make sure the lever on the embroidery frame holder opens.

   
   • The embroidery frame is attached correctly.
     CAUTION

     Correctly attach the embroidery frame into the embroidery carriage frame holder. Otherwise, the presser foot may hit the embroidery frame, resulting in injury.

4. Hold down (Accept button).

   • The Accept button LED goes off, and the machine exits Needle/thread exchange mode.

5. Use "Trial run" to check that the frame moves without catching.
   Tap [Do a trial run] according to the instructions that appear in the app.

   • The embroidery frame starts the trial run and executes a full range of movement for embroidery.
     

Removing the embroidery frame

1. Close the lever on the embroidery frame holder.

   • The embroidery frame will separate from the embroidery carriage frame holder.
     

2. Remove the embroidery frame under the presser foot.
