Connecting the machine and app

Download the app to your mobile device, and then pair the app and machine via Bluetooth.

Installing the app

1. Visit https://s.brother/csukb/ to access Google Play or the App Store on your mobile device.

2. Install the [Brother Artspira] app.

Pairing the machine and app

1. In the home screen, tap .

2. Select [Embroidery Machine] → [Bluetooth Model].

   • A screen for specifying pairing settings appears.

   	: Machine

3. Hold down (Bluetooth button).

   Hold down the button until a beep sounds and the LED starts blinking at 1.5 second intervals.

   	: App

4. Select the machine to be paired.

   

   The machine name appears as “Brother PP1” and a 4-digit number. This number is the last four digits of the serial number of the machine. The machine’s serial number can be found in the label on the back of the machine.

   
   • When pairing is finished, [Ready for transferring] appears in the app screen, and the LED beside (Bluetooth button) on the machine lights steadily.
     
     

5. Go back to the app's home screen.

   • The app can be paired with only one machine at a time. To pair the app with a different machine, select that machine when performing the pairing operation again.
   • To pair the machine with a different device, hold down (Bluetooth button) on the machine to prepare for re-pairing, and then perform the pairing operation from that app.
