Insert the Tape Cassette

  1. Rest the printer face down on a flat surface. Press the Cover Latch (1) and remove the Rear Cover (2).

  2. Insert the Tape Cassette, as shown.

    IMPORTANT

    When inserting the Tape Cassette, make sure the tape does not catch on the Print Head. To avoid damaging the tape or ink ribbon, insert the Tape Cassette horizontally.

  3. Make sure the Rear Cover Hooks (1) are correctly inserted, and then close the Rear Cover.

    If you cannot close the Rear Cover, make sure the Release Lever (1) is in the raised position, as shown. If not, lift the Release Lever, and then try again.
