Managing and Configuring Your Printer with EWS (Embedded Web Server)
Overview
The web server feature of your printer allows configuring and managing the printer through a web browser.
- View printer status information
- Change network settings including TCP/IP information
- View software versions of the label printer and printer server
- Change advanced settings of the network and the printer
To configure the settings, the printer needs a valid IP address.
Configuring and Managing Settings of Your Printer Through a Web Browser
Access your printer through HTTP communication
In the address bar of the browser, enter the IP address (or server name) of the printer.
Example:http://192.168.1.2
The configuration window appears. Configure the settings.

Note:
Refer to the instruction manual of your model, which provides relevant information.
Note:
The settings relevant to the administrator requires a password. The default depends on the model and is one of the following.
Location to access with the administrator authority (ID/password): admin/access or admin/(no password)
Location to access with the user authority (ID/password): user/access or user/(no password)
To prevent unauthorized access, it is recommended to change the passwords.
