b-PAC Download

Full b-PAC SDK for Developers (SDK, User Guide & Sample Programs)

Development tool (b-PAC) components for Windows, help files, and sample programs are included.
After the b-PAC SDK is installed, the help files can be browsed via the following:
To access the help files: Windows Start Menu -> All Programs -> Brother b-PAC SDK

  • * Note that supported OS, editors, and models vary depending on the b-PAC version.
    For supported environments for each version, see b-PAC Operating Environment.

[Note] Selection between b-PAC "32-bit ver." and "64-bit ver." and installation

To use b-PAC on a 64-bit Windows OS or use it for redistribution to a 64-bit OS, be sure to note the following points.
For b-PAC 3.1 or higher, if a selection between "32-bit ver." and "64-bit ver." is not appropriate for an application used, b-PAC does not work.

  1. 1) For b-PAC 3.1 or higher, select "32-bit ver." or "64-bit ver." to match it with the "bit ver." of a target application.
    Note that some applications are not 64-bit ver. even when they are running on 64-bit Windows OS.

    <<Example>> When the target application is Microsoft Excel on 64-bit Windows 10 OS, the following combination should be used:
    A) For Excel "32-bit ver." -> b-PAC "32-bit ver."
    B) For Excel "64-bit ver." -> b-PAC "64-bit ver."
    • * Note that Microsoft Office 2010 or higher include both 32-/64-bit versions.
  2. 2) When the target application is Internet Explorer, use the "32-bit ver." of b-PAC.
    (In order to conform the environment where ActiveX operates with Internet Explorer.)

b-PAC Client Component Only (for Installation on Each End Users PC)

Installs the b-PAC component only.
Specification documents and sample programs are not included. Use this package to distribute b-PAC to a PC other than the PC for b-PAC application development.
