I want to use the Simple Network Configuration capabilities of Apple Mac OS X but I cannot find my printer in the "Print Center", "Printer Setup Utility" or "Default Printer Browser".

The Simple Network Configuration capabilities of Mac OS X can only find devices in the local network segment. If your Macintosh and devices are not in the same network segment or are connected via a router, you cannot use the Simple Network Configuration capabilities of Mac OS X.

In these cases, we recommend you use IP printing.
