Can I reduce the size of a received fax to fit the size of the paper in the Brother machine?

Turning on Auto Reduction will automatically reduce the size of an incoming fax to fit the size of the paper in your machine. To set Auto Reduction mode ON, follow the instructions listed below:
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps of "For Touchscreen models" below.
- Press the Menu key.

Press the Up or Down Arrow key to choose Fax and press OK.

Press the Up or Down Arrow key to choose Setup Receive and press OK.

Press the Up or Down Arrow key to choose Auto Reduction.

Press the Right or Left Arrow key to choose ON (or OFF) and press OK.

Press Stop/Exit.
- Press the Menu key.
- Press the UP or Down Arrow key to display Fax.
- Press Fax.
- Press the UP or Down Arrow key to display Setup Receive.
- Press Setup Receive.
- Press the UP or Down Arrow key to display Auto Reduction.
- Press Auto Reduction.
- Press On (or Off).
- Press Stop/Exit.

The machine calculates the reduction ratio by using the page size of the fax and the Paper Size setting.
Verify the Paper Size is set correctly by follow the instructions listed below:
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps of "For Touchscreen models" below.
- Press Tray Setting.
- Press Tray#1 or Tray#2 and press OK.
- Press the UP or Down Arrow key to choose Paper Size.
- Press the Right or Left Arrow key to choose the correct size and press OK.
- Press the UP or Down Arrow key to choose Complete and press OK.
- Press the UP or Down Arrow key to choose Complete and press OK.
- Press Tray Setting.
- Press the displayed paper size or paper type for Tray#1, or press the displayed paper size for Tray#2.
- Press the Right or Left Arrow key to dislay the paper size options, and press the correct size.
- Press Stop/Exit.
