Document Jam

The error message Document Jam or Document Jam/too Long is an indication that the document was not inserted or fed correctly, or the document scanned from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) was too long.

 

Follow the steps below to clear a document jam.

 

  1. Remove the jammed document from the ADF unit. Clear any debris or scraps of paper from the ADF unit paper path.
    Check the following points to take out jammed document:
