Can I program my Brother machine to forward the faxes I receive to another location?
You can use your Brother machine's Fax Forwarding feature to forward the faxes you receive to another location. When Fax Forwarding is on, your Brother machine will receive a fax into its memory, dial the fax number you programmed, and forward the fax to that number.
To turn Fax Forwarding on, follow these steps:
- Press MENU/SET, 8 (Remote Fax Opt), 1 (Fwd/Page/Store).
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Fax Forwad.
- Press the MENU/SET key.
- Enter the number to which you want faxes forwarded.
- Press the MENU/SET key.
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Backup Print: On or Backup Print: Off
- If you select Backup Print: On, your Brother machine will automatically print each received fax so that you'll have a copy if there is a power failure before the fax is forwarded or there is a problem with the receiving machine.
- If you select Backup Print: Off your Brother machine will NOT automatically print each reveived fax.
- If you select Backup Print: On, your Brother machine will automatically print each received fax so that you'll have a copy if there is a power failure before the fax is forwarded or there is a problem with the receiving machine.
- Press the MENU/SET key
- Press the STOP/EXIT key.
