Can I print from or scan to Android™ mobile device?

Yes. You can print or scan with your Brother machine in two ways.

 

Brother iPrint&Scan app

You can print and scan*1 from Android™ mobile device using the Brother iPrint&Scan app.

 

*1: Available only for Brother machines with scanner function.

 

You need to install the Brother iPrint&Scan app onto your device to print or scan with your Brother machine. Brother iPrint&Scan is a free application that is available on the Google Play™ Store.

Mopria™

Mopria™ Print Service is a print functionality on Android™ mobile devices (Android™ version 4.4 or later) developed by the Mopria Alliance. With this service, you can connect to the same network as your machine and print without additional setup. Many native Android™ apps, including Google Chrome™, Gmail, and Gallery, support printing.

 

You must download the Mopria Print Service from the Google Play™ Store and install it on your Android™ device. Be sure to turn the service on before using this feature.
