Reduce printing noise.
Follow the steps below to reduce printing noise.
When the Quiet Mode is turned on, the print speed becomes slower.
- Check that the back cover is firmly closed.
- Press Menu.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose General Setup. Press OK.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Quiet Mode. Press OK.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose On. Press OK.
- Press Cancel to return to Ready mode.
If the Quiet Mode isn't displayed on machine's display, you may need to update the firmware of your Brother machine. Click here to download the Firmware Update Tool and see more information in the Downloads section to update the firmware.
