Follow the steps below to unpack the machine:
NOTE: Illustrations shown below are from a representative product and may differ from your Brother machine.

1. Open the box.
   
    
2. Remove small components and starter toner cartridge.
   
     
3. Lay the box on its side and pull the machine out of the box.
   
        
4. Remove packing materials.
   
    
5. Remove plastic bag and blue protective tape.
   
    
6. Open the front cover.

   
    

7. Remove the orange packing material.
   
      
8. Remove the drum unit.
   
     
9. Unpack the toner cartridge.
   
     
10. Remove the protective cover.
    
         
11. Put the toner cartridge firmly into the drum unit until you hear it lock into place.
    
    To avoid print quality issue, DO NOT touch the red shaded parts.
    
12. Install drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the machine.
    
     
13. Close the front cover.
