How to identify the printer's firmware version
You can confirm the firmware version by printing the printer information.
To print the printer settings report:
- Make sure a roll of 3" (76.2 mm) receipt paper has been loaded and that the RD Roll compartment cover is closed.
- Turn on the printer.

Press and hold the
(Feed) button until the POWER indicator starts blinking in green (for RJ-3050/3050Ai) or the message “Printing” is displayed on the LCD display (for RJ-3150/3150Ai). The settings will print. - When the list of printer settings is printed, check "ProgVer" under "<<PRINTER CONFIGURATION>>".
