While writing data to the media (memory) card in the media slot, the status dialog box has not been updated. It appears to have frozen. What can I do?

As long as a progress dialog is displayed on your PC display, your PC and the machine are processing data. Depending on the size of the file you are transferring, it may take some time before the file is transferred.
While data is being transferred you should see CONNECTING TO PC on the LCD panel of the machine.
If this does not happen, this suggests that the machines are not communicating with each other.
