Make my copied images lighter or darker.
You can make your copied images darker or lighter by adjusting your Brother machine's Copy Density setting.
To change the Copy Density setting for your next copy job, follow these steps:
Programming a new default Copy Density setting
To change the Copy Density setting for your next copy job, follow these steps:
- Load your document.
- Enter the number of copies you want to make (up to 99).
- Press Copy Options.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Density.
- Press OK.
- Do one of the following:
- Press the Down arrow key to make a lighter copy.
- Press the Up arrow key to make a darker copy.
- Press the Down arrow key to make a lighter copy.
- Press OK.
- Press the Black (Mono) Start or Color (Colour) Start key to start copying.
Programming a new default Copy Density setting
- Press Menu.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Copy.
- Press OK.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Density.
- Press OK.
- Do one of the following:
- Press the Down arrow key to make a lighter copy.
- Press the Up arrow key to make a darker copy.
- Press the Down arrow key to make a lighter copy.
- Press OK.
- Press Stop/Exit.
