I cannot configure the NC-2200w. What can I do?

If the NC-2200w cannot be found using the 'Wireless Setup Wizard' or the 'BRAdmin Professional' software, check the following:

  1. Check the connection between the NC-2200w and the Printer/MFC/DCP:

Press the 'Test' button of the NC-2200w for 1-2 seconds to print the configuration page of the NC-2200w. If it is printed, the USB cable connection between the NC-2200w and the Printer/MFC/DCP is OK.

  2. Check the NC-2200w:

Check the LEDs. When the LEDs are lit as follows, the NC-2200w is working OK.

    • 'Link' LED is on (green).
    • 'Infra' LED is on when in the NC-2200w is in Infrastructure mode. (Off when in Ad-hoc mode.)

If the LEDs are not lit correctly, remove the AC adopter power cable from the NC-2200w and try again.

  3. Check the computer is in Ad-hoc mode.

Make sure your computer has been configured for Ad-hoc mode.

The "Wireless Setup Wizard" can only configure the NC-2200 when in Ad-hoc mode.
