Why is my machine making a loud noise when it cuts the tape?

It is normal for the machine to make a louder noise when it cuts than when it prints, because the cutter motor is larger than the tape feed motor.

If you feel the noise is excessively loud, please contact Brother Customer Service by clicking "Contact Us" in the top right corner of this page.
