How do I adjust the tape margin?
To adjust the tape margin, follow the steps below:
- Hold down the [Code] key.
-
While holding down the [Code] key, press the [Tape] (E) key. The current margin setting will be on the display.
Each time you press the [Tape] (E) key, the margin setting changes from one to another.- Select "NONE" for 1/6' inch margin.
- Select "NARROW" for 5/16' inch margin.
- Select "HALF" for 1/2' inch margin.
- Select "FULL" for 1' inch margin.
- Release the [Code] key when your desired margin setting is displayed.
One-inch piece of tape that is produced prior to every label cannot be eliminated due to the construction of the tape mechanism. However, when you print more than one label continuously, subsequent labels can be printed without excess tape.
The following methods are useful for reducing tape use:
- Using the "Numbering" function - refer to "How to use the Sequential Numbering Feature".
- Using the "Repeat printing" function
