Document misfeeds.
Follow the steps listed below to resolve the issue:

After pressing Scan, the paper detect sensor is inactive for a certain time.
Align the edges of the pages and set your document correctly, then try again.

The document is not feeding correctly.
Remove the document, align the pages, and set it carefully in the ADF, then start scanning again.
