The printer stops while printing, or the tape is cut in the middle of the text. (P-touch Design&Print / Design&Print 2)
When the printer stops while printing, or the tape is cut in the middle of the text, perform the following steps to feed the tape.
- Confirm that the printer is ON.
- Press the Power button twice quickly. The tape feeds automatically.
The following settings in the applications can prevent the printer from stopping while printing.
(If you want to reduce margin to the minimum, perform the steps above without doing the settings below.)
For P-touch Design&Print / Design&Print 2:
Tap [Print] and then turn [Cut the last label] in the Cut Option ON.
For Brother iPrint&Label:
Tap [Print] and then turn [Chain Printing] in the Cut Option OFF.
For P-touch Editor:
Click [Print] and then uncheck [Chain Printing] in the Option.
