How can I connect my mobile device to the printer? (P-touch Design&Print)

Follow the instructions below:


Preparation
For Apple devices: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (for iPhone X users, swipe down from the top of screen), and then turn on Bluetooth®.
For Android™ OS 4.4 or earlier: Turn the Bluetooth setting on, and then select the printer.

  • To confirm the Android™ version, see Settings --> Device information --> Android™ version.
  • The printer to connect to is PT-XXX**** (where **** is the last four digits of the printer's serial number. Alternatively, you can find your machine number on the sticker below the Power Button). The unit's serial number is located where the TZe Tape Cassette is set inside the Cassette Cover.
  • If the PIN code is required, enter "0000".
  • If the printer to connect to is not displayed, tap the refresh button.


When using the app's initial guidance to connect

  1. Download the application.
  2. Start the application.
  3. The initial guidance starts.
  4. Tap [Connect Now].
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

When you did not use the app's initial guidance

  1. Follow the instructions in [Preparation] above.
  2. The message "Confirm your P-touch connection/ Please select your P-touch" will appear in the upper-right corner of the application's editing screen. Tap it.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select the printer.
