I'm trying to print special paper, but that paper is having problems feeding from the tray. What can I do?

If you are trying to print special paper, but the paper misfeeds from the paper tray, follow these steps:

Loading paper into the manual feed slot

You can load paper into the manual feed slot one sheet at a time.

To load paper in the machine's manual feed slot, follow these steps:

  1. Open the manual feed tray.

    open the feed tray

  2. Slide the paper guides to fit the paper you want to use.

  3. Use both hands to put the sheet of paper into the manual feed slot until you feel its front edge touch the roller.

insert the paper into the feed slot

  • Insert the sheet of paper into the manual feed slot with the print side face up.

  • Let go of the sheet of paper when you feel the machine automatically feed it slightly into the slot.

  • Make sure that the sheet of paper is straight and centered in the manual feed slot. If it is not, it may jam or the print may be skewed.

  • Do not put more than one sheet of paper into the manual feed slot at once. Inserting more than one sheet of paper into the manual feed slot may cause a paper jam.
