Can I still receive faxes or calls when the machine is switched off?

Yes. You have the ability to customize a Fax Receive setting to On or Off. Fax Receive: On will allow you to receive faxes or calls when the machine is off. Fax Receive: Off stops the machine from receiving faxes or calls when the machine is off.

When the setting is "Fax Receive: Off" and the machine is not in use, the machine will still periodically purge the ink heads to prevent ink blockage.

To select the setting, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Press the Menu/Set key on the control panel.
  2. Press the up or down navigation key located above and below Menu/Set to select General Setup.
  3. Press Menu/Set.
  4. Press the up or down navigation key to select On/Off Setting or P.Save Setting.
  5. Press Menu/Set.
  6. Press the up or down navigation key to select Fax Receive: On or Fax Receive: Off.
  7. Press Menu/Set, then press Stop/Exit.
