What kind of memory can I use?

This printer has 64 Mbytes of standard memory and 1 slots for optional expansion memory. The memory can be expanded up to 320Mbytes by installing commercially available dual in-line memory modules (SO-DIMMs). (The standard memory fitted can vary depending on the printer model and the country.)


The SO-DIMM that can be used with the HL-4200CN must have the following specifications:

 

 Type:  144 pin and 64 bit output
 Clock frequency:  100 MHz or more
 Capacity:  64 Mbyte - 256 Mbyte
 DRAM Type:  SDRAM 2 Bank

 

 

The following SO-DIMM size can be installed:

   64 MB TECHWORKS VN133-64M
 128 MB TECHWORKS VN133-128M
 256 MB TECHWORKS VN133-256M

 

<Europe>

   64 MB Buffalo Technology VN133-64M
 128 MB Buffalo Technology VN133-128M
 256 MB Buffalo Technology VN133-256M
