What kind of memory can I use?
This printer has 64 Mbytes of standard memory and 1 slots for optional expansion memory. The memory can be expanded up to 320Mbytes by installing commercially available dual in-line memory modules (SO-DIMMs). (The standard memory fitted can vary depending on the printer model and the country.)
The SO-DIMM that can be used with the HL-4200CN must have the following specifications:
| Type: | 144 pin and 64 bit output |
| Clock frequency: | 100 MHz or more |
| Capacity: | 64 Mbyte - 256 Mbyte |
| DRAM Type: | SDRAM 2 Bank |
The following SO-DIMM size can be installed:
