The cutting machine can cut automatically, however the material may not be cut cleanly depending on the material or the pattern. In that case, adjust the Cut Pressure setting. 


 

Before making your project, perform a test/trial cut with the same material and check the cut result.
For details on trial cutting, refer to How do I perform trial cutting? (Test Cut).

Adjust the Cutting pressure according to the test/trial cut results.
If the material could not be cut cleanly, refer to the following table, and adjust the setting for the cutting pressure.

Test/Trial Cut results	Tips for adjustment
Part of the pattern is not cut.	Pressure too light : Touch  in the settings screen once to increase the pressure.
The entire pattern is not cut.	Pressure too light : Touch  in the settings screen once to increase the pressure.
There are deep cuts completely through the mat.	Pressure too strong : Touch  in the settings screen once to decrease the pressure.

To adjust the Cut Pressure setting, touch  in the home screen, and then adjust the setting for Cut Pressure.

Otherwise, touch  in the test screen, and then adjust the setting for Cut Pressure in the settings screen.
