When using Web Connect I receive an error message: Connection Error 01 -Unexpected Error Occurred. Start Over Again.
This error typically occurs if you have enabled the Proxy Settings but your network does not require it for connection. To resolve this error, disable the Proxy Settings.
Follow the steps below to solve the problem:
This error can also occur if the Proxy Settings are required, but entered incorrectly. Please verify your Proxy Settings.
Follow the steps below to solve the problem:
- Press
(Settings).
- Press the Down arrow key on the Touchpanel to display and press Network.
- Press the Down arrow key on the Touchpanel to display and press Web Connect Settings.
- Press Proxy Settings.
- Press Proxy Connection.
- Press Off.
- Press
(Home)
- If the problem still continues, contact Brother Customer Service from "Contact Us".
