Reduce printing noise
Please follow the steps below to reduce printing noise.
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps under "For touchscreen models" below.
When the Quiet Mode is turned on, the print speed becomes slower.
- Make sure that the front cover is closed and the power cord is plugged in.
- Turn on the machine and wait until the machine is in the Ready mode. Press Menu.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose General Setup. Press OK.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Quiet Mode. Press OK.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose On. Press OK.
- Press Stop/Exit.
- Make sure that the front cover is closed, and the power cord is plugged in.
- Turn on the machine and wait until the machine is in the Ready mode.
- Press Menu.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to display General Setup. Press General Setup.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Quiet Mode. Press Quiet Mode.
- Press On.
- Press Stop/Exit.
