My Brother machine is unresponsive.
If you turn the machine off, or if there is power failure during a firmware update, the firmware will not be updated. When you turn the machine back on, it will not perform any tasks or respond to button presses.
To resolve the issue and update the firmware, follow these steps:
- Connect the machine to your computer using a USB cable.
- Windows users only: Download and install the Full Driver & Software Package from your model's Downloads page at support.brother.com.
- Download the Firmware Update Tool from your model's Downloads page at support.brother.com and update the firmware using the USB connection.
