How do I initialize and clear the printer to factory default settings?
You can reset the internal memory of your printer when you want to clear all saved label files, or in the event the printer is not operating correctly.
Resetting data to factory settings
- Turn off the printer.

While holding down the [Shift] key (
/ 
) and [R] key ( 
), press the [Power] key ( 
) once. -
Release the [Shift] key ( / ) and [R] key ( ).

Release the [Power] key ( ) before releasing the other key.

All text, format settings, option settings and stored label files are cleared when you reset the printer.
Language and unit settings will also be cleared.
