What is the BROWNIE software?
The Brownie software (Brownie is an acroynm for Brother OWN Instant Explorer) is a Brother utility which can be used for a variety of different tasks. In most instances, it is used to monitor the status of your Brother printer.
If you wish to delete the 'Brownie' software, select the 'Remove' option from the 'Add/Remove Programs' applet in the control panel.
If 'Brownie' is removed, you will not be able to use the printer status monitoring options within the printer driver .
