Make sure you create a symbolic link to the filter file after the driver installation:

1. Open the /etc/cups/ppd/ directory.
2. Open the PPD file corresponding to your model.
3. Confirm that the filter file name in the *cups filter line is corrected and contains your model name.

For example:

cupsFilter: "application/vnd.cups-postscript 0 [filter file name]"

4. Run the following command to create a symbolic link to the filter:

ln -s /usr/lib/cups/filter/[your model's filter file name]   /usr/libexec/cups/filter/[your model's filter file name]
