Cannot start Remote Setup.

Check the following points to solve the issue:

 

  • Check if the machine is turned on.

    If not, turn on the machine and then try again.

     

  • Check if the machine is connected to your computer.

    If not, connect the machine to your computer and then try again.

     

  • Check if the machine is in Sleep Mode.

    If not, press Stop or open the Top Cover, and then try again.

     

  • Check if an error occurs.

    If so, clear all errors and then try again.

     

  • Check if the machine is scanning documents.

    If so, wait until scanning has finished and try again.

     

  • Check if the machine is in the Settings Menu.

    If so, stop configuring the machine from the Control Panel.
